Structure Your Content
Your audiences are more likely to scan than read, because they are on mobile devices and/or are busy and distracted. It is important to structure content so it’s easy to scan and digest.
Follow these tips to employ scannable structure:
Put the most important information first.
Break dense text up using headings, bullets, and numbered lists.
Don’t use FAQs. Put information where it makes sense contextually.
Read more about formatting for lists.
A Note About Adding Structure in RED
When copying and pasting content from other software, like Microsoft Word, you must remove any formatting from that program, as it can transfer unwanted code into your content and break the formatting. You will need to add bulleted and numbered lists manually using the CMS text editor.
