# Phone & Fax Number Formatting

Phone and Fax numbers should follow the **(555) 555-5555** format to keep it consistent with the UIC standards. 

Do not use any other formatting such as: 

* <mark style="color:red;">555-555-5555</mark>
* <mark style="color:red;">1-555-555-5555</mark>&#x20;

The phone and fax labels should be spelled out such as:

* Phone:
* Fax:
* Toll-Free:

Do not use T, P, F abbreviations.

## Make your phone numbers clickable links

Whenver possible, your phone numbers should be clickable links. Learn more about how to do that:
