The University of Illinois College of Medicine Office of Marketing and Communications offers the following resources to help faculty, staff, and students utilize the College of Medicine brand appropriately.
In order to establish a consistent identity across all University of Illinois College of Medicine websites, here are some guidelines to follow:
All College of Medicine websites need to use one of the below logos prominently displayed at the top of every website.
Link to medicine.uic.edu: All websites should link to the UI COM homepage.
No alternate versions of the College of Medicine logos except those listed here can be used.
Departments, Units, Labs, programs, etc. CANNOT use their own logo.
Some executive-level offices (i.e. Medical Advancement) may opt to co-brand the COM wordmark with the UI Health logo to indicate clinical partnership and collaboration. It should be done-so by employing UI Health/UIC co-branding marketing guidelines.
OPTION 1: USE COM logo as primary brand and incorporate UI Health logo or IL icon (optional inclusion of affiliation copy under logo) as secondary brand within the piece.
OPTION 2: Use COM logo, including in-copy citation of UI Health partnership.
